Dave is a natural instructor. He is consistent, cool-headed, motivating and most pertinent is his total emphasis on safety (at the forefront of this is his extensive experience as a paramedic). I had effectively never touched a bike, apart from a CBT last year; I went from nervous and apprehensive on the first day of the course, to passing mod 1 & 2 with ease and achieved very good results on these tests. Dave is genuinely invested in his students; he is extremely impressionable & likeable and will make an effort to get to know you, see what works for you in terms of teaching style; he is encouraging and you feel safe with him. I went from being a nervous rider, bordering on questioning whether I should be on the course, to now being able to ride a motorbike competently, safely and with confidence. Thanks Dave.

Where to start other than saying what an amazing experience from start to finish! Vernon for my CBT before Dave for my Mod 1 & 2! They are quite simply the best you could hope to find! Dave is excellent. I passed my DAS first time with him. He's very encouraging and friendly. He is always supportive and gives encouraging, polite feedback when you make a mistake so that your confidence always grows throughout the course. He teaches the course in a structured way so that you can build your skills upwards - so that by day four you're ready for your tests. I enjoyed every second of the course. If you're thinking of doing a DAS course, do it with Dave. Cheers for getting me through 👍

I passed my CBT with Vernon on the 10th. Stellar instruction and a really wonderful time. We even stopped in Beaumaris for a coffee! Would highly recommend!

Dave is a very very good instructor, prior to doing my DAS the only time I'd sat on a bike was doing my CBT 12 months prior, but dave made it feel like I'd been on one every day, the confidence that he gives you is hard to explain. Going from no experience to passing my MOD 1 and MOD 2 first time is an unreal thing, I would 100% recommend

Recently did a DAS course with Dave @ Rider Training, his instruction and attention to detail is excellent. Not only does Dave teach you to ride a bike and pass the tests, he makes sure to pass on extra knowledge to make you a better and safer rider. He is very good at identifying how each individual learns and makes sure to tailor his tuition accordingly.
