Highly recommended for Scouting trips. Electric, heating, hot water and WiFi. Fantastic kitchen. Good showers. Living room space. Many dorms, sleeps at least 30 (not sure on the exact amount allowed- Plenty of camping room and floor space too. Cleaning supplies to help keep tidy for next group. Excellent location for navigating hikes in the area. Beautiful view. Single track road but very quite. Feel safe having children exploring without risk of cars. Safe and secure building.

What a fantastic place. Great building very clean and warm. The place is in a great location. Great to start you hikes from. The kitchen is second to none. I will be definitely going back to Hafod.

fantastic centre for scouting mountain base

Used Yr Hafod for my recent Mountain Leadership training and assessment. Fantastic place and experience. Such knowledgable and helpful instructors. The friendly, warm and welcoming staff made it so much more of a pleasurable experience. Ideally placed for easy access to the hills straight from the door. Shame they couldn't make the weather behave!
