Rooms are basic but simple and clean. Bed comfy but limited view of the TV from the bed due to where it’s fixed down. Limited food options such as Burger King, Greggs and Starbucks. Lovely welcome and friendly staff. Rooms: Simply comfy and clean Food & drinks: No on site restaurant Have to use facilities on site such as Burger King

Being disabled my wife and I had to leave our mobility scooters in a locked room off the reception.. Every time we wanted to leave or return to our room no staff could be bothered to come to the reception and unlock the door so we could get or put away our scooters.. Many people waiting in reception for booking in or delivering goods.. I went looking for a member of staff once and found a girl standing on the 1st floor listening to the people in reception, I asked her to go to the reception and she said that I should phone the number in reception, 10 people had and no answer.. She eventually came with me to sort it out and book people in.

Great base for visiting family. Location was conveniently close to the main A55. Plenty of free parking, had a Burger King, Starbucks and Asda Local nearby. There was very little noise in the hotel. Rooms were clean and were as expected from a Travelodge. Staff we met were all really helpful.

Ok, it looks nice now it's done up.... But the hot water for a bath is awful, try running it very slow if it's cold fully open on the hot. Also they have installed scaffolding polls around the bath, if your broad shoulder like me, its a fight to fit in the bath.... RIDICULOUS!!!!!.

Lovely receptionist we arrived very late and she accommodate us at her best. The rooms are comfortable and we slept very well. Place its easy reach for any location you want to visit in the area.

Ideal base for most activities in North Wales, I had a family room, oodles of space, recently redecorated & modernised. The staff where wonderful. Polite & attentive, it seemed nothing was a problem or issue. Rooms: Family room, double bed & two singles, lots of room to spread out.

The rooms have been newly renovated. The color still smells fresh. Carpeting is new. Bathroom too. Parking is free. Takeaway food nearby. Very suitable for transit to and from Ireland. I will come back....

Visiting family who were staying there. The roadway in is as horrendous as it was 12 months ago, potholes everywhere. Inside was being decorated so strong smell of paint, which is unavoidable and needed doing. Actually saw a member of staff (first time ever when I've been there lol). Great way to see family before Christmas without the ball ache of entertaining them at my house 😀

While being between moving houses, the local council placed us in temporary accommodation here for some time. We stayed at multiple rooms during retrofits so we got to see a real before and after. The location is tricky. As a service station, it's not close to any other places except the other businesses at the station. However, there is a 24-Hour Asda and multiple options for food, so this is a non-issue if you're simply staying for a night or two. As our stay was quite lengthy, the isolation did wear down on us a little, but shouldn't be a problem for people using this travelodge as a quick stop. The real noteworthy part of our stay here were the staff. Rachel, Dylan (or Declan?? SORRY!!) and the team were all exceptionally helpful and kind. Always friendly and really made us feel at home, they were amazing and very professional when dealing with a noise complaint that was had. Fantastic people. Rooms: As others have said, the rooms before the retrofits were in need of a touch up, but luckily they have received it. After being retrofits, the rooms are lovely, with new chairs and bedframes. The feeling of staying in the newer rooms always a vast improvement as they were lovely. Noteworthy details: Just want to say again a huge thank you to everyone who worked at the Bangor Trvelodge during our stay, it meant a lot to have caring and understanding colleagues to speak to and were always ready to go above and beyond.

Only stopped to have a coffee and use the toilets - toilets are absolutely disgusting. No toilet paper in any cubicle, filthy floors and muck everywhere. Such a dirty and awful experience. Not used to this kind of place and no one should have to use these facilities.
